Great Gun January 5, 2009 I was unsure wether to buy this or not but i did because of the reviews and it arrived after three days and was easy to setup and use. Also very realistic with Quantum of Solace along with my official wii zapper. There are no problems that it didnt fit or got stuck and the nunchuk fitted easily into the hole in the bottom.
it great fun 4 wii play December 30, 2008 Not a shooting person i bought this gun for wii play for the shooting side. the gun its self is easy to use look gd shoot with it is simple. if u just want a simple gun for a cheep price ur on to a winner. am happy with it. And yes u can plug the nunchuck in it
Buy this gun December 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Please ignore all reviews 3 stars and below, they obviously do not know what they are talking about. Mostly complaining about compatibility with certain games (which are not designed for any guns), not realising that the nunchuck connects to the bottom of the pistol grip or purely because they like another one (i.e. Nyko Perfect Shot)
I liked this gun so much I bought a second.
The facts are;
1. Good Value about 6 compared to the only other real choice, approx 15 for the Nyko Perfect Shot.
2. Well made, looks and feels like an official WII accessory.
3. Well balanced, is not front heavy like the Nyko Perfect Shot.
4. Comfortable pistol grip, trigger and trigger guard (for use in either left or right hand).
not good with Quantum of Solace December 29, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Seems like a good product, but was bought with Quantum of Solace in mind.
The Bond game DOES NOT work well with this accessory. I only mention it as Amazon's recommendation engine seems to feature this accessory specifically.
The game has two modes - one for Wii Remote and one for the Zapper. This gun kind of sits in the middle of the two. By using it as a Wii remote, you can't really access the buttons on the top easily. If you try to use it as a Zapper, some of the controls like taking cover and take-downs become very awkward.
In either case it sort of assumes you can access the main buttons eailsy, but its difficult to do it with your shooting hand down on the butt of the gun and equally difficult with your other hand holding the nun-chuck.
(btw - Quantum of Solace on the Wii is a bit rubbish anyways.)
Excellent value for money December 19, 2008 I didn't know what to expect at such a low price, but works fine with House of the Dead 2 and 3, and anything else where button B is predominantly used to fire. It IS nunchuk compatible - it simply plugs into the bottom of the gun handle.
It doesn't work with Resident Evil4 because you need to push button A to fire, which is on the top of the gun when using. Also swiping with the knife feels a bit weird when holding a gun.
